Fotny Refund Policy
Introduction
Effective date: March 10, 2025
This Refund Policy is issued by Alpeen Technologies GmbH, a company registered in Switzerland, operating the Fotny platform ("Fotny", "we", "us", "our"). Payments on Fotny are processed by Stripe, Inc.. All refunds are returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. By using our services you agree to the terms of this policy.
What You Can Purchase on Fotny
Fotny currently offers the following purchasable products:
- Event Albums — access to a curated album of photos from a specific event.
- Individual Photo Downloads — purchase and download of specific photos in full resolution.
- Subscriptions (coming soon) — recurring plans providing extended access to Fotny features.
Refund Eligibility
a. Event AlbumsIf you are not satisfied with an event album purchase for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of the purchase date. No explanation is required. Contact us at info@fotny.com and we will process your refund without question.
b. Individual Photo DownloadsIndividual photo downloads are non-refundable once the photo has been downloaded. As a digital good delivered instantly upon purchase, the right of withdrawal does not apply after the download has been initiated. If you experience a technical issue preventing your download, please contact us at info@fotny.com and we will assist you.
c. SubscriptionsSubscription plans are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:
- Contact us: Send an email to info@fotny.com with the subject line "Refund Request". Include your order number or the email address used for the purchase.
- Review: We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. We may ask for additional information if needed.
- Resolution: Approved refunds are processed via Stripe back to your original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Fotny-Initiated Changes or Cancellations
If Fotny modifies, discontinues, or cancels a product or service you have already purchased, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and provide a full refund for the affected purchase where applicable.
Changes to This Policy
Alpeen Technologies GmbH reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of Fotny after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
