No! Fotny is designed to be user-friendly. Guests can upload and download photos without needing to create an account or install an app.
Simply go to the Pricing page, select your package, follow the steps to set up your event, and share the unique link or QR code with your guests. You can choose between free and paid event options, depending on your needs.
Free events on Fotny allow up to 20 guests and let you collect up to 100 images in total. If you need more features or storage, you can easily upgrade to a paid event.
Yes! You can password-protect your event, allowing only people with the password to view or upload photos. You can also remove unwanted guests at any time.
As the event organizer, you have complete control over the event gallery. You can delete any photos that don’t belong or are inappropriate, ensuring the event stays safe and fun for everyone.
Paid events offer advanced features, including:
- Higher image limits (up to 10,000 photos).

For free events, the limit is 100 photos per event. With paid events, you can upload between 1,000 and 10,000 photos, depending on the package you choose.
Yes, we offer a free trial! Create a free event, try it out, and if you like it, you can easily upgrade to unlock more features and storage.
Yes, Fotny requires an internet connection to upload and share photos. However, guests can upload their images at their convenience whenever they are connected.
You can upgrade your event at any time by selecting the “Upgrade” option within your event dashboard. All of your event data will remain intact during the upgrade.
Currently, Fotny focuses on photo sharing. We are working on supporting video uploads, so stay tuned!
Yes! We simplified this by setting a limit of 90 days from the event creation for any event plan. According to usage statistics, people stop visiting events much earlier than 90 days.
All uploaded photos will remain available for viewing and download for 90 days after your event is created. You can choose to delete them earlier. After 90 days expire, we are removing them from our storage and they are not available anymore.
Yes! If you are a photographer, Fotny allows you to set up paid photo galleries for events, so guests can purchase high-quality versions of your photos directly from the platform. Get in touch with us to learn more about FotnyPRO.
We take security seriously. Events can be password-protected, and only guests with the link or QR code can access the photos. Event organizers also have the power to manage who can upload or view photos, and our AI tools help filter out unwanted content.
